Here’s what’s blooming this week and why I LOVE living here in Virginia. It will be a show from now on until late November.
The last of my Hellebores under my deck. They’re the first harbingers of Spring in my yard and have been blooming for over a month now.
My Redbud, a little stick transplanted last year from my sister’s back yard. Don’t know if it will get taller but it couldn’t get much more colorful!
Muscari or Grape Hyacinth in my front flower bed just popped up this week. Just love these babies!
and a sea of Violets in my back beds waiting for the other perrennials to come up.
Cherry trees by our office parking lot. Who needs to drive downtown?
More to come. The daffodils are still going strong and the hostas and peonies are sprouting. The robins and goldfinches are back too. I love having four seasons!
K Q:-)
Me too!
Do hope the tornadoes stay away from your place. I just read the storm set a record for tornadoes.
